The girls didn't make it easy on themselves but they pulled off second place in the State Tournament hosted at Otter fields! Lost first game, and then won the next seven to get into the finals. Exhaustion set in and placed second but what a way to finish the season!!

2014 First Year of 10U - C Team
Abby's first year of 10U started as a disappointment when tryouts landed Abby on the C team that was in need of coaches. It ended up being a great season, full of growth for the girls plus a lot of fun! Tammi Roach volunteered to be the head coach and Carl and Justin Barber assistant coaches. The girls had a lot to learn, but they worked hard, had a lot of fun and enjoyed a very successful season, placing first at Bear Classic and second at state! We were so proud to see how much all of the girls improved - it was amazing and so fun to watch how their hard work paid off!
The first games played were at a tournament in Woodbury. It was cold and windy!!
We learned first hand why face masks are required for infield. Jessie was pitching and couldn't get out of the way and smack, right in the face mask. She went down, had a small mark but was fine, thanks to the mask!

Abby chose 21 after Mark Meredith's number at Northwestern College (pitcher). Mark was Abby's nanny in 2011.
Ready and waiting! I was born for this!

Little League 2012: "Detroit Tigers"
Abby couldn't wait to play baseball with the boys just like her brother! The Detroit Tigers was her team and was happy to have Derrik Thomas and Mitchell Gustafson as teammates.
The coaches gave out a team ball to one player after every game. Way to go Abby!
